They are many walkable paths with wonderful views

A path connects the hamlet of Lami with Acquacalda. It gives the emotions of being in front of a unique panorama, which embraces the coast of Acquacalda, the pumice quarries and the thick scrub that has settled inside the crater depression, Fossa Castagna, occasionally interrupted by vineyards

Towards the Kaolin Quarries The landscape is a Mediterranean poodle prairie, with changing colors and still active fumaroles, kingdom of the herring gull. Along the way there is a pool of water that collects the waters of the thermal spring of the locality "Bagno".

Il Poggio dei Funghi is located between the two main reliefs, Monte Chirica and Monte Sant'Angelo, in the heart of the island of Lipari. Here there is a thick scrub of heather, strawberry trees, rock roses and isolated chestnut trees. In the distance, the extinct volcanoes of Monte Pelato and Monte Rosa complete a beautiful unexpected landscape.

THERMAL EVENTS

The Aeolian archipelago is a center of attraction not only for the variety of its natural beauties, but also for its thermal waters of high therapeutic value. Post volcanic manifestations are found in Vulcano Lipari and Panarea. In Lipari there is the S. Calogero spa.
The waters of Vulcano and Muds are effective in neuralgia and neuritis, phlebitis, ulcers and dermatological affections. Next to the sulphurous fortress of Levante occurs the phenomenon of the gurgling of the waters caused by saubmarine fumaroles.
